At Biba Law, we believe every client deserves exceptional legal support delivered with empathy, expertise, and dedication. Led by founding Solicitor and Barrister, Habibat Larai Kasim, we proudly serve individuals, families, and businesses with a focus on family law, real estate, corporate and commercial matters, estate planning, debt collection, and judgment enforcement.
We do not practice criminal or civil litigation, allowing us to dedicate our full attention to your personal, business, and family needs.
Meet Habibat Larai Kasim
Habibat Larai Kasim brings over two decades of legal experience and a passion for helping clients find practical, lasting solutions. Called to the Nigerian bar in 2004, Habibat holds a Masters of Law from the University of London, UK, majoring in Corporate and Commercial Law. She completed the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) qualifying examination for foreign-trained lawyers in Canada, articled at Shawn Patenaude Law in 2015, and was called to the Saskatchewan bar in February 2016.
Habibat practiced at Shawn Patenaude Law until July 2021 and co–founded JBK Law Office, where she served until July 2025. In 2025, she established Biba Law to offer her clients focused, high-quality legal care.
Habibat’s dedication to client service and care is matched only by her commitment to her family. She and her husband have three beautiful daughters, enjoy travelling, cheering on their girls in sports, and cherishing quiet family time at home.
